Twink Mansion

Project Overview

Twink Mansion needed a way to take bookings directly through their own site, cutting out third-party marketplace fees and taking full ownership of the customer journey. The existing platforms they were using imposed limits on pricing flexibility, availability management, and how the property was presented online.

The goal was a fast, reliable booking system that could handle direct reservations, secure payments, and real-time availability, while remaining simple enough for the owner to manage without any technical knowledge.

By building a custom solution, Twink Mansion gained full control over pricing rules, booking logic, and future features, while giving guests a smoother experience booking directly through the site.

The Challenge

The main challenge was delivering a direct booking experience that could match (and in many cases outperform) established third-party platforms, without inheriting their fees, rigid workflows, or performance limitations.

The Solution

We designed and built a fully bespoke booking platform. The frontend was built with Next.js for fast page loads, smooth navigation, and a responsive experience across desktop and mobile.

Prisma and SQLite handled the booking data, availability, and pricing logic, while Stripe was integrated for secure online payments. The platform was deployed on a hardened server environment, optimised for stability and long-term maintainability.

The Result

A fast, secure booking system that gave the owner full control over their business while providing guests with a smooth, professional booking experience. No marketplace fees, no rigid templates, and no reliance on third parties.
