Project Overview

Twink Mansion required a bespoke booking platform to avoid using third-party marketplaces, commission fees, and retain full ownership of the customer journey. Existing platforms imposed limitations around pricing flexibility, availability management, and overall presentation, while also introducing unnecessary complexity for day-to-day operation.

The objective was to create a fast, reliable, and professionally presented booking system that could handle direct reservations, secure online payments, and real-time availability updates, all while remaining simple for the owner to manage without technical expertise. Performance, security, and scalability were treated as first-class requirements from the outset.

By building a custom solution, Twink Mansion gained complete control over pricing rules, booking logic, and future feature expansion, while delivering a smoother and more trustworthy experience for guests booking directly through the site.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was delivering a direct booking experience that could match and in many cases outperform, established third-party platforms, without inheriting their high fees, rigid workflows, or performance limitations.

The Solution

BlueDevLabs designed and built a fully bespoke booking platform using a modern, performance-focused technology stack. The frontend was developed with Next.js to ensure fast page loads, smooth navigation, and a responsive user experience across desktop and mobile devices.

Prisma and SQLite were used to manage booking data, availability, and pricing logic in a reliable and structured way, while Stripe was integrated to handle secure online payments and transactional workflows. The platform was deployed on a hardened server environment, optimised for stability, security, and long-term maintainability.
